And welcome 2010. We have an exciting list

Vietnamese
Asian art is very 'a la mode' as more
and more auctions take place featuring 'very hot' Indian
artists and growing contemporary Chinese work, not to
mention the Russian Impressionists. All of which will
grow as the significance of the new super powers continues
to influence our lives!

As I was going to St Ives…..Cornish
Ian is always ‘going to’ St Ives
and has built a strong bond with the area and its artists.
We will be exhibiting from West Cornwall annually -
this year it will be The St Ives School featuring work
by: Sandra Blow RA, Paul Feiler, Sir Terry Frost RA,
John Milne, Breon O’Casey, Mary Stork, John Wells
and Fred Yates and many more..
We have in stock work by Ken Symonds, an artist quickly
becoming one of the gallery’s favourites, with
not only his delightful figurative pieces but distinctive
canvasses from the 70s and 80s.

Sculpture
Spirit House III Rick Jackson
We love sculpture of many different materials:
stone, glass, bronze, ceramic. Our collection includes English,
French, Spanish, Nigerian, Zimbabwean and Australian. We feature
one sculptor during each exhibition but we always have stock
of Anita Mandl (bronze & stone), Sally Fawkes (glass),
Rick Jackson (glass), Jacques Le Bescond (bronze & marble)
and Francois Agate (carrara marble)

19th/20th Century
Our main interest in the 19th Century was
originally Victorian watercolours, which
developed into a period collecting the work of Sir
W R Flint. We are planning an internet exhibition
of his work.
We still continue to work with the RWS and NEAC.

21st Century
Although a favourite period of Ian's is 1850-1950 we are
relishing the 21st Century with gallery artist Ben Blethyn.
The juxtaposition of his work in the gallery against our more
traditional art has been a great success, both originals and
limited edition prints are going well, and the artist’s
reputation is growing.
